General Scholarship Award
The General Scholarship Award Fund was established in 1959 to support the ideals of the founding members. This award is designed to be the avenue of last resort for students (male or female) in need of financial assistance to further their education.
Over the years, the Men Who Dare scholars (scholarship recipients) have attended institutions such as Wayne State University, Michigan State University, Eastern Michigan University, Morehouse College, Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Since 1959, the Men Who Dare has awarded over 580 scholarships to local students. Many of our scholars have completed their education and returned to serve the community.
